

Candle Burning and
Safety Tips
Candles and Tea Lights
It’s very important that you burn candles responsibly to ensure safe use.

Glass and containers may be hot to touch, please use heat resistant hand protection while handling.

Handle with care, glass containers are fragile.

Keep away from children and pets.

Never ingest

Never leave burning candles and/or tealights unattended. Keep them within sight at all times.

Keep the wick trimmed to ¼ inch to prevent smoking and carbon mushrooming. Re-trim the wick before every use.

If carbon build-up occurs on the end of wick, blow candle out. Trim wick to ¼ inch and remove trimmings .

If smoking occurs, blow candle/tea light out. Trim wick, remove trimmings, and relight.

Burn in a draft free area clear of furniture and/or combustible materials.

Keep spaced apart while lit to prevent uneven burning.

Keep the burn pool clean; never throw matches into the candle.

Keep out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources.

Extreme heat should be avoided. Do not store in a hot car.

Always place candles and tealights on a non combustible, heat resistant base set on a level stable surface.

Do not use if the jar is cracked, chipped or scratched.

Do not refill candles with wax.

Do not burn tea lights in an enclosed space like a potpourri pot. If using a melt warmer, make sure the warmer is unplugged/unlit and well ventilated.
Wax Melts
It’s very important that you warm melts responsibly to ensure safe use.

Use only in tealight warmers or other electric warmers approved for wax melts.

Keep away from children and pets.

Never ingest.

Do not leave melter unattended while in use.

Do not add water.
-
Do not melt on stove top or in non-approved appliances.

Use only in well ventilated areas away from flammable materials.

Discard when fragrance is no longer present, or when dish contains less than 1/2" of wax.
